Bachelors Hall - Economical Elegance
Bachelors Hall is one of the signature villas in Barbados designed by renowned architect Larry Warren. This 7-bedroom home had just been purchased by new owners who had taken the property over fully furnished from the previous owners. The villa would be used for the new owners personally, as well as put up as a luxury rental villa. We scheduled a walkthrough and agreed that certain pieces were outdated, not to the clients taste and a general refresh was needed. In addition, the new owners were also making use of the expanse of land and were building a new wing that would need to be furnished from scratch.
The media room was one of the main spaces which needed to be completely redone. Originally a beige on beige bore, we transformed the space into a bright and cheery coastal space for family and friends to enjoy. Aqua sofas accented with custom coral throw pillows and drapes paired with mirrored and glass accent pieces made this once dreary space into a breath of fresh air.
The clients requested a hotel feel for these bedrooms with modern, masculine elements and clean lines. We followed suit for majority of the bedrooms in the main house which were originally over furnished and cluttered and transformed them into simple sleek spaces, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
